●TORINIKU NO NANBAN-ZUKE-
Lightly Marinated Chicken
- Nanban-style

<Ingredients(for two)>
1 chicken thigh
potato starch
oil for frying
Nanban vinegar:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 1/3 cups water
15g sliced konbu (sea
kelp)
2 red hot pepper
2 eggplants
1)Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and dust with
starch. Remove any
excess amount. Deep-fry in hot oil of about 170 degrees
Celsius.
2)Cut the eggplant into bite-sized pieces, and deep
fry without putting any
coating.
3)Mix the ingredients for nanban vinegar and add the
fried chicken and
eggplants, sliced konbu and red hot peppers. Work the
ingredients together
and let the flavor settle.
